What this tool stores, for how long, and how to remove it. These numbers come from the running configuration, not from a copy of it.

What is stored
- Your username and a hash of your password. The password itself is never stored.
- Clips you upload, and clips fetched from links you paste.
- The finished vertical clips this makes for you.
- The boxes you mark, any subtitle text you correct, and the layouts you save — these are what let the tool recognise the same game next time.
- Your chosen fonts, colours and text positions.
- A daily count of how many pages were opened and how many browser sessions visited — four or five numbers per day for the whole site. No addresses, no per-visit records, nothing tied to your account: it says how busy the server was on a given day and nothing else, and it cannot be turned back into who did what.
All of it lives in one folder per account on the server that runs this. One account cannot see another account's files.
How long it is kept
- Uploaded clips, downloaded clips and finished renders are deleted automatically after about 14 days, and sooner if the server runs short of space.
- Marked boxes, corrected subtitles, saved layouts and your style settings are kept until you delete them or delete your account. They are small, and they are what stop the tool asking you the same questions again.
What leaves the server
When you paste a link, the server fetches that clip from the site it points at — so that site sees the request, as it would if you downloaded the clip yourself. Links are only accepted for:

Nothing else is sent anywhere. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Transcription runs on the server; audio is not sent to any outside service.
Deleting your data
- Individual clips and renders age out on their own (above), or you can simply stop using them and let them expire.
- Delete your account from the app — sign in, scroll to the bottom of the page, and use Delete account. It asks for your password, then removes your account and every file it owns: clips, renders, boxes, subtitles, layouts and settings. This cannot be undone.
Practical limits worth knowing
- A clip may be up to 15 minutes long when rendered. Longer recordings can be loaded and trimmed down first.
- Server logs may briefly record that a request happened. They are not used for anything else.
